Built because the tools that exist assume a wedding is one day, one venue and one answer.
Toran is a wedding website with a separate RSVP for every ceremony, and a tracker for what the wedding costs: each vendor, what they quoted, what you have paid in advance and what is still due.
It started as one wedding website, built for a family wedding, and it kept running into the same gap. Western tools assume one day, one venue, a hundred guests and a single yes or no. An Indian wedding is five days, several venues, four hundred guests, and a dozen vendors invoicing in instalments. Nothing handled that, so this does.
India. The product is built for rupees, for UPI, for Hindi and English on the same page, and for a guest list that arrives as a spreadsheet somebody’s mother already made.
Toran is a sole proprietorship operated by Pulkit Srivastava, from India. One person, so the contact page reaches him directly rather than a queue, on email or on +91 93405 19145.
